  • The actor’s motto, Simul et singulis, immediately places him or her at the heart of a paradox: being together and being oneself, at one time, in one place, in one entity.
    Throughout the season, the new Paradox(es) series will take the form of a gallery of acting portraits. The birth of a desire for theatre, elective affinities with the repertoire, the practice of acting, the relationship to the spaces of the theatre from the boards to the dressing room, totemic or superstitious objects, each actor will decrypt the hic et nunc of his or her art during a long interview.

    DENIS PODALYDÈS
    Sociétaire depuis 2000. La saison dernière il a joué dans Les Damnés d'après Luchino Visconti, Nicola Badalucco et Enrico Medioli, mis en scène par Ivo van Hove. Cette saison, on le retrouve dans La Nuit des rois ou Tout ce que vous voulez de Shakespeare mise en scène par Thomas Ostermeier, Salle Richelieu, en alternance du 22 septembre 2018 au 28 février 2019, dans Fanny et Alexandre d'Ingmar Bergman mis en scène par Julie Deliquet, Salle Richelieu, en alternance du 9 février au 16 juin 2019, dans Électre / Oreste d'Euripide mis en scène par Ivo van Hove, Salle Richelieu, en alternance du 27 avril au 3 juillet 2019 et dans la reprise des Damnés, Salle Richelieu, en alternance du 20 mars au 2 juin 2019.
