    The Comédie-Française proposes guided tours to discover its history and inner workings through its collections of artworks and the principles upon which it operates: the Troupe, the Repertoire, the alternating programme, the three stages and the theatre trades. In short, an insight into the life of a theatre that gives nearly nine hundred performances per season.

    • If you are in a wheelchair, to facilitate your visit, please contact the theatre at the following address: accessibilite@comedie-francaise.org
    • Contrary to productions, it is not necessary to arrive 45 minutes in advance for guided tours. As the doors only open at 11 am, visitors must arrive on time, with their tickets and proof of eligibility for reductions. The proof of eligibility must be presented to the guide along with the tickets.
    • No duplicates or exchange of tickets is possible.
    • The tour begins under the peristyle of the Comédie-Française, next to the ticket desk.
    • Visitors may not leave the visit before the end.
    • Photography is prohibited during the visit.
