After its Théâtre du Vieux-Colombier premiere, Guy Cassiers’ new production is going on a two-month tour. Racine’s Bérénice, which premiered in 1680 at the Comédie-Française, has not been performed by the Troupe in over ten years. The actors are happily setting off to spread Racine’s sublime verses and utterly modern stakes over France and Europe.
