  • The Comédie-Française offers the option to join a waiting list on the online ticketing platform for certain productions or events when they are sold out.

Productions for which this option is available will display the message "Recevoir une alerte de disponibilités" ("Receive an availability alert"). Simply enter your email address and the date or dates for which you wish to receive an alert. Receiving an alert email does not constitute a booking, which must be made separately on our online ticketing platform or by phone, and does not guarantee that a seat will be available.

It is also possible to purchase last-minute tickets for sold-out performances. Booking procedures vary by venue:

Salle Richelieu: 1h before the start of the performance, at the indoor box office in the peristyle and at the Petit Bureau, rue de Richelieu, Paris 1st arrondissement.  .
Théâtre du Vieux-Colombier: a waiting list opens at the box office every evening 1 hour before the start of the performance (availability not guaranteed)
Studio-Théâtre: a small number of seats may become available a few minutes before the start of performances. A waiting list opens every evening 1 hour 30 minutes before performances (availability not guaranteed).

These seats are sold in order of arrival, at standard prices.

  • For each performance at the Salle Richelieu, around twenty seats at €5 (restricted view) are available one hour before the start of the performance without prior booking at the Petit Bureau (external box office, rue de Richelieu, Paris 1st arrondissement).

Every Monday, 85 seats are offered free of charge to under-28s (one restricted view seat per person, subject to proof of eligibility, within the limit of available seats).
