Check your ticket to confirm which auditorium your production is playing in: the Salle Richelieu, the Théâtre du Vieux-Colombier, the Studio-Théâtre, or one of our partner venues.
If you have your ticket (printed or on your phone), you may go directly to our front-of-house staff, who will show you to your seat. If you do not have your ticket, please go to the box office. -
The Salle Richelieu and the Théâtre du Vieux-Colombier both have a free cloakroom. The Studio-Théâtre does not have a cloakroom. However, you may ask our front-of-house staff to set aside your helmets, bicycle batteries and umbrellas.

Only one bag (such as a handbag) per person is permitted inside the three Comédie-Française theatres. Anyone arriving with additional bags, shopping bags, luggage, suitcases or other bulky items will be refused entry to the buildings.

There is no specific dress code, however smart casual attire is encouraged.

Salle Richelieu :
bar open 1 hour before the start of the performance and during the interval.
Théâtre du Vieux-Colombier :
bar-restaurant open Tuesday to Friday from 9am to 11pm, Saturday from 11am to 11pm and Sunday from 11am to 5pm, with continuous service until 1 hour after the end of performances.
Studio-Théâtre :
bar open 1 hour before the start of the performance. -

Your seat number is indicated on your ticket.
Théâtre du Vieux-Colombier :
numbered seating. Your seat number is indicated on your ticket.
Studio-Théâtre :

It is not compulsory to print your ticket; you may download it to your phone. We recommend downloading it before your visit to ensure a smooth welcome.

The auditorium doors close at curtain up. In the event of late arrival, access to the auditorium and numbered seating cannot be guaranteed, so as not to disrupt the performance. Where possible, audience members will be shown to their seats at a moment deemed appropriate by the theatre and the artistic team.
